Nicole Kidman Isn't Worth The Money She Is Paid

Forbes has done yet another of their lists. This time it's of the least bankable celebrities/stars.

Top of the, what is essentially the worst value star, is Nicole Kidman. According to Forbes her movies only earn $1 for every dollar she is paid.

The remake of the classic film Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Invasion, didn't help as for this film, for which she is said to have been paid $17 million, she lost $2.68 for every dollar she earned.

Second in this list of poor value for money stars is Jennifer Garner followed by Tom Cruise. After this comes the likes of: Cameron Diaz, Jim Carrey, Nicolas Cage, Drew Barrymore, Will Ferrell and Cate Blanchett.

The simple answer is surely to pay them considerably less and base their final earnings for a movie on profitability.
