Alycia Lane Is Fired
 KYW-TV have fired the television anchorwoman Alycia Lane.A spokesperson said that Alycia 'has been released from her contract effective immediately.' This all stems back to her being charged with hitting a New York City police officer. See our article here for the full story. A statement from the television company by Michael Colleran said: "After assessing the overall impact of a series of incidents resulting from judgments she has made, we have concluded that it would be impossible for Alycia to continue to report the news as she, herself, has become the focus of so many news stories."As well as the incident with a police officer there was previously a scandal when Alycia is said to have sent photos of herself in a bikini to sportscaster Rich Eisen - these were intercepted by his wife.
