Sarah Green Teacher's Video
A new celebrity in the making is 24 year old teacher Sarah Green. It seems a while back she made an advertisement video for Scruffs Safety-wear - and the video is below. Now her headteacher has suspended her from her teaching post. Why? Well the advertising video is now on the Internet and it's a bit naughty, though Sarah Green has said, "It's no worse than a Carry On movie." About the suspension the head man, Andrew Chicken, has said, "The suspension implies neither guilt or innocence." Good to see that education is run by such decisive and positive people! Sarah made the Scruffs video in 2004 prior to her becoming a teacher and it won an advertising award in Cannes. Bet Scruffs are delighted at all of the publicity. This has caused quite a stir. It's not really as tame as the pro lobby would like to have us believe. However I don't thik it's pornographic. Before the advent of "the net" worse than this would have been sent tot the top shelves of newsagents and the shop keepers charged with ensuring our pre-pubescent youngsters were not given direct access. Would there have been such a fuss if Miss Green had been photograghed for one of the "dirty mag's" of the day? Most likely! should she be sacked. I don't think so, but she will have to live it down and deal with the adolesents that will undoubtedly try to make something of it. She's as well where she is, than trying to start again at another school. I don't think there are grounds for dismissal, but there are plenty for not making a job offer in the future. Oh dear Miss Green, this is a mess, I wish you all the luck in the world and all the best for your career (in teaching).
