Amy Winehouse The troubled Amy Winehouse was released from police custody after admitting she slapped a man when on a night out. She was given a caution. Amy had been held overnight at Holborn Police Station after arriving voluntarily yesterday afternoon. At first she was considered 'unfit to interview' and this had to wait until this morning. Humphrey Lyttelton The Jazz musician trumpeter Humphrey Lyttelton has died at the age of 86. He is also known for being the chairman on the BBC radio programme I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. James Corden The Gavin and Stacey star and writer is reported to have arranged a lunch date with Lily Allen's mother to seek her approval for him to go out with her daughter. A source told the Daily Mirror, "Alison was bemused when James blurted out, 'Actually I got you here to talk about Lily'. She roared with laughter. She thinks James is a lovely young man and would be delighted if he stepped out with Lily." So sweet! Les Dennis Claire Nicholson, partner of comedian and TV presenter Les Dennis, gave birth to a baby girl, Eleanor Grace. This is the second child for Les, 53, and the first for Claire, 37. David Beckham On the subject of babies David Beckham said on the Ellen Degeneres Show that he would like another child and he is now 'working on it' - hopefully with Victoria Beckham. He said on the show, "We’re very family orientated, so we’ve always wanted a big family, which was weird because when we first got together we never even discussed how many children we wanted. But it’s worked out that we want a big family and we love kids so it’s worked out perfect." Russell Brand Swordsman Russell Brand has been denied entry into the USA ater flying to New York for a talkshow. He was due to talk about his new movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall. However all was not lost as, according to the Sun, he managed to return to his home with one of the Virgin (with a capital V!) air stewardesses, Nicole Toft.
