Racist Remarks Aimed At Konnie Huq
 I'm treading on delicate ground here and the last thing I want to do is to make any political points. A celebrity blog isn't the place for doing this. However I feel I must say something about all of the abuse and racist remarks that have been left on our blog In Praise Of Konnie Huq.On one post Konnie Huq At Launch Of Miss England Bikini there are 80+ comments and the majority are awful in their content - racist and threatening. I have purposefully left the comments to stand as I don't want to censor them. I feel that they say more about the writers themselves than anything others can write. The vitriol came about because Konnie Huq carried the Olympic Torch in London and also voiced her opinion on the China and Tibet situation. She was attacked while carrying the torch. I'm not going to enter into the China / Tibet / Olympic debate. As I've already said this isn't the place to do so, though I have my opinions. All I will say is that it's absolutely fine to have an opinion or view point, no matter what it is, but why not put this over in a constructive way without racism or threats.
