Katy Perry And The I Kissed A Girl Hit
There is an interesting interview with Katy Perry on BBC News. Amongst other things, such as her song writing and her love of the rock group Queen, she was asked why her controversial I Kissed A Girl has been such a global hit. Katy answered: "I think that musically the song is catchy. I think that it's one of those subject matters that is, you know, like 'oh my god I can't believe she said that, that someone came out and said it'.Katy denies actually courting controversy with her music. She said, "I never wrote anything for the sake of being like, 'ooh let's be shocking or wild or rebellious'. I just kind of wrote about my life." Labels: Katy Perry |
