Kerry Katona's Mother Admits Benefit Fraud
 Susan Katona, mother of Kerry Katona, has admitted benefit fraud and was given an 18 month conditional discharge at Runcorn Magistrates Court.It's reported that Susan Katona, who is no longer talking to her daughter, claimed benefits even though she had £46,000 ($92,000) in the bank via her daughter and a publisher. She claimed, "This started out as a legitimate claim and it was an innocent mistake." Mrs. Katona has to repay the money back at the rate of £8 ($16) per week and has already paid £1,000 and £770 for council tax. Kerry Katona was brought up by her mother, whom she alleges was an habitual alcohol and drug abuser. She left home at just 16 to become a stripper and working with a dance troupe before gaining fame with the girl group Atomic Kitten.  Labels: Kerry Katona |
