Norman Tebbit Angry At Rose McGowan's IRA Comments
Ex UK top Conservative politician, Norman Tebbit, has waded into the Rose McGowan and IRA comments controversy. US actress Rose McGowan plays a Provo terroist in the movie Fifty Dead Men Walking and has praised the IRA campaign and has said that she understood their violence. She is also quoted as saying, "Had I grown up in Belfast, I would 100 per cent have been in the IRA. My heart just broke for the cause and I have a lot of respect for the intelligence and the honor that these people carried." This has incensed Mr.Tebbit, now 77, who's wife was paralysed following an IRA bomb attack. He said, "If she would have been happy to have been a terrorist, then I would have been happy to have seen her shot as she carried out her acts." He added: "Perhaps she would like to come and tell my wife why she supports the IRA." Ad: Tattoo Me Now. Over 3,500 tattoo designs.
