Keith Allen defends Lily Allen
 Keith Allen has come out fighting in defence of Lily Allen's television show which, surprisingly, has been commissioned for a second run. The show was hammered by critics and the first episode only attracted 255,000 viewers. It must be said that Lily, as great as she is with her music, just isn't up to presenting and holding together what is essentially a talk show. However dad, Keith, has said, "It was a very, very tough time for her. But she has come out fighting. To wake up the day after your show basically being told that you're talentless and useless, it's pretty tough. She carried on, and power to her. It seems unfair because I think the show is absolutely fine." Of course most fathers would think their daughter's efforts were 'fine' - no matter what they did. Lily has had a rough time what with a miscarriage and separating from her boyfriend but she should surely concentrate on her musical talent and not presenting. Labels: Keith Allen, Lily Allen |

Lily Allen And Alcohol
 Lily Allen has admitted that she is following in her father's footsteps and has a problem with alcohol. Not that this is any real shock to fans.Lily Allen says, "I'm an alcoholic now. It's not good and that's why I want to get back into the studio. I've actually pulled myself aside and said it will kill me if I keep it up. I've got to stop abusing myself because as far as I'm concerned every loon hates me now." Her father Keith Allen has been a hard drinker in his time and a reputation in the past as a boozer. Lily adds, "I have been getting really drunk because I've been so nervous about doing bad shows." The problem has been that in the USA the drink has caused 'bad shows'.
