Michelle Williams Cannes Festival Photo
 Michelle Williams looked stunning at the 2008 Cannes Festival yesterday as can be seen by the photo. She was attending the premiere of Synecdoche, New York (see TimesOnLine for a review). Talking about her recent heratbreak over Heath Ledger she told the Daily Telegraph, "I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father.  John LoughtonTwenty year old Edinburgh youth politician John Loughton won the £50,000 ($100,000) prize as winner of the UK Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack. He gained 54% of the vote with the extra bendy Emilia Arata, 18, as runner up. Sad thing is no one really cares - the show was a disaster with few viewers. Daniel Radcliffe Laura O'Toole says that she has split up with boyfriend Daniel Radcliffe. The reason is put down as Daniel's demanding work schedule. Laura explains, "Daniel and I are still good friends and have a good time when we see each other. But we just have to be realistic"  Michelle WilliamsIt's reported that Michelle Williams has put all of her work commitments on hold so that she can grieve for Heath Ledger. The couple dated while filming Brokeback Mountain but split up in late September 07. Amy Winehouse Mitch, Amy Winehouse's father has reported on his daughter. He said, "Amy is very ill and is suffering horrific withdrawal symptoms - shivering and constantly throwing up. Her body is expelling all the rubbish. One thing helping Amy is her Marilyn Monroe films. Amy loves Some Like It Hot. She's a huge fan of Monroe and thinks she's wonderful." We wish Amy well.  Cheryl ColeFurther to yesterday's post Cheryl Cole has said that she wants to meet the girl, Aimee Walton, who claims to have bedded Ashley. She thinks this is the only way to find out what really happened. She wants a woman to woman talk. All well and good but as we said yesterday other girls have alleged relationships with Ashley as well. Brian Belo UK Big Brother winner Brian Belo has said that it was him that ended the relationship with fellow housemate Amanda Marchant. He said that they were 'just too different'. Heath Ledger Found Dead
 Sadly the troubled Australian born actor Heath Ledger was found dead at his Manhattan apartment. The possible cause being a drug overdose. Heath Ledger, only 28, was found naked at the foor of his bed and was pronounced dead at the scene. The police spokesperson Paul Browne said, "We are investigating the possibility of an overdose. There were pills within the vicinity of the bed." It is generally known that Ledger took prescribed drugs for sleeping and was troubled by fame and the attention it brought. George ClooneyGeorge Clooney has been with his new girlfriend, Sarah Larson, at the Venice Film Festival. Nothing seems to be known about Sarah - as most thought that he was dating Croatian model Monika Jakisic. George was in Venice promoting his new film Michael Clayton. Michelle Williams Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams have split according to a report in Us Weekly. They write that the couple, "... quietly and amicably split a few weeks ago. The relationship had been rocky recently. They tried very hard to make it work but finally decided to separate. They just grew apart. They have a beautiful daughter and they are both committed to being great parents."  Sam MarchantUK Big Brother's Sam Marchant has now reunited with her boyfriend Richard Jones now that the show has finished. She delicately said she was 'gagging to be with him'. Sam continued by saying, "Now I'm out we've got a lot of catching up to do." Amy Winehouse The Daily Star reports that troubled Amy Winehouse and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil have made a suicide pact. They have each, allegedly, said they will kill themselves if the other should die of a drugs overdose. This couple need real help - soon. It's sad to see people self destruct. Victoria Beckham Poor old Victoria Beckham has had to have protection from a prowler who sneaked into her and David's Beverley Hills mansion. But ... the prowler got away and Posh got into the newspapers. Kate Moss Rumours around that Kate Moss has got a new fella. She was spotted sneaking out of a London pub - and it definitely wasn't Pete Doherty with her.
