The Cerys And Marc Jungle Fumble
 Contestants for celebrity reality shows such as the UK's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here know what they are letting themselves in for. And, let's face it, they get paid and lots of publicity. However, you can't help feeling a little sorry for Cerys Matthews.Her so called romance with Marc Bannerman has been the talk of the show even though it lasted only for 11 days. Marc was evicted by the public who saw him as a bit of a love rat.  It looks though that Cerys Matthews is a bit smitten by Marc. It could have died away but he sent a note into the jungle saying, "There are many problems in London and I've had to go back to try and sort them out - but I may well return to greet you when you come out, if that's your wish. Marc."Cerys said she would like him to be there for her. So what has happened? Marc goes back to London and his live in girlfriend Sarah Matravers. She kicks him out and a media frenzy starts. Sara Matravers claims she was beaten by Marc during their years together, "There was a bruise on my back and I had ten stitches in my arm so it was pretty nasty." Bannerman denies the allegations.  Doesn't look promising for Cerys.Then a barmaid, Meg Raphael, crawls out of the woodwork and reckons she had a fling with Marc before he went into I'm A Celebrity. Looks worse for Cerys. But there is more. A singer by the name of Sophia Port, who was in panto with Mark, said about him, "He’s 14 years older than me but he used to try it on with me all the time. I didn’t know he had a girlfriend until she started turning up to all the shows. She was always checking up on him. She used to wait outside every night to make sure he didn’t go out with the cast."  Worse still for Cerys?But there is even more. Now it seems that Marc is hiding away and hasn't returned to Australia, where I'm A Celeb is based. So Cerys will come out of the show expecting Marc to be there to meet her, but it seems doubtful that he will be there. And she'll then hear what is being said about Marc. Of course, you could say that Cerys Matthews did know he had a girlfriend when she cuddled up to him. Perhaps she deserves, therefore, what she gets. Perhaps they deserve each other. Sarah Matravers Flies Home As Marc Bannerman Is Evicted
 There was a reality show shock last night in the UK's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. What happened wasn't expected - Marc Bannerman was evicted by the public vote. The bookings, tabloids and everyone else that takes an interest in such things got it wrong.Why did the public vote our Marc Bannerman? It can only be presumed that this was because of his budding relationship with Cerys Matthews and the fact that he has a live in girlfriend, Sarah Matravers. Sarah Matravers flew into Brisbane, which is the normal procedure for contestants partners, but after catching up on Marc and Cerys decided to fly back straight away to London. When Marc, therefore, left the jungle there was no Sarah to meet him. He seemed genuinely stunned and requested that he be allowed to fly back to London himself immediately. Sarah had said, on leaving Brisbane, that she wanted to sort things out with Marc in private and not on the television screen, as no doubt the I'm A Celeb programmers would have liked. Sarah's actual leaving words were, "I'd love to be able to forgive him but I'm so confused at the moment, I'm shell-shocked. So I've got to get home." Was the Cerys / Marc relationship genuine? Was Sarah flying in and out of Brisbane a publicity stunt? After all she is an actress and could do with raising her profile. Is anything about I'm A Celeb really genuine? Conspiracy theories rumble on.  Sarah Matravers, as said, is a British actress born in Kent and has had roles in the easily forgotten television series Footballers Wives: Extra Time, Dream Team, Doctors and Mile High. Cerys Matthews: Singer To Jungle Bikini Girl
 Since the UK reality show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Cerys Matthews had become a media name once again. Especially as within the jungle camp she seems to be forming a relationship with fellow contestant Marc Bannerman - see yesterday's post. Her red bikini has also captured the imagination of male viewers!So today we feature Cerys Matthews. Cerys Elizabeth Philip Matthews was born on the 11th of April 1969 in Cardiff, Wales. Her name, Cerys, means 'love' and is pronounced 'Ker-iss' and she speaks fluent Welsh.  Her fame is as a singer songwriter of folk rock, pop and ballads. She first got into the music scene after meeting her boyfriend Mark Roberts after which the band Catatonia was formed with Cerys as the lead vocalist. The band flourished from 1992 to 2001.On forming a relationship with Seth Riddle she moved to Nashville in 2002 and married Seth in 2003. She made a solo debut album, Cockahoop, in the same year. The marriage broke down and Cerys returned to Wales together with two children and finally ended up on I'm A Celebrity. It's early days on the reality show but Cerys has come across as sweet natured and is one of the favourites to win.
