Eddie Murphy Admits Paternity Of Melanie Brown's Baby
 Further to our previous post Eddie Murphy has now admitted that he is the father of Melanie Brown's baby, Angel Iris Murphy Brown.Eddie Murphy's publicist said that Murphy will, "always has and will continue to honour his responsibilities as a father." Regarding Melanie Brown's claims that, "As soon as I had my IUD removed we proceeded to get pregnant ... We planned to get married at Christmas, but then we had to change it once I got pregnant and we decided that after the baby was born we'd get married." His publicist refuted this by saying, "Mr. Murphy and Ms. Brown dated very briefly and never made any plans of any sort. He acknowledges paternity of the child Angel, and has paid child support to Ms. Brown as well as covering the expenses of her pregnancy." The statement concluded by saying Murphy "views this as a private matter, and as such, will not be making any further comments about it." Melanie Brown and Eddie Murphy Baby Saga Continues
 Melanie Brown, also known as Scary Spice and Mel B, has been in court in Los Angeles seeking support from her baby's father, Eddie Murphy.A petition was filed to legally establish that Eddie is the father of Angel Iris Murphy Brown. The attorney for Melanie Brown, Gloria Allred, says that Ms. Brown is after sole custody and 'reasonable child support'. Melanie said, "Angel is my baby and Eddie's. She will always know that she was planned and wanted by both of us." Earlier this month Melanie also told Essence Magazine that the baby was planned and that the couple had even decided to marry. She went on to say, "As soon as I had my IUD removed we proceeded to get pregnant. It happened quicker than we expected but it was perfect timing." She continued: "We planned to get married at Christmas, but then we had to change it once I got pregnant and we decided that after the baby was born we'd get married." Eddie Murphy will make no comment though the child was proven to be his by a DNA test. He has five other children with ex wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy. Melanie has an eight year old daughter.
