 Tatum O'NealIt's reported that Tatum O'Neal was arrested at 7.30pm last night after allegedly purchasing crack cocaine cocaine outside her New York home. A suspected dealer, believed to be named Allen Garcia was also arrested.Yves Saint LaurentSaid by some to be the most influential fashion designer of the second half of the 20th Century, Yves Saint Laurent died at the age of 71 following a long illness. He had been retired from his business since 2002. Fern BrittonUK television presenter Fern Britton has been telling porkies. She lost weight because of a gastric band and not through healthy eating. She had previously told Now magazine, "I just ate a bit healthier and took up cycling to work. It's taken me two years and a lot of hard work."Even her husband, Phil Vickery spun the same story he also told the magazine, "Fern has lost a lot of weight through cycling, walking the dog and not eating too much - simple as that." But not that simple then? Jodie PrengerThe winner of the BBC's I'd Do Anything has told the Daily Mirror that she isn't too fat for the role of Nancy. She told the newspaper, "I'm a size 14, an average woman. Nowt special. Whatever size you are, it doesn't matter as long as you're healthy and happy. But I've been through it - I've been size 26 and have gone through turmoil. But I don't want to make a huge issue out of it. That's what upsets women.""Ok, I'm never going to be a size zero - the closest I'll get to that is my shoe size. But before I came into this I was jogging five miles every other day. I can do it, don't worry." Of course size doesn't matter in everyday life - but it does for particular acting roles.  Kate MossAge is catching up with Kate Moss. She's just been dropped by Agent Provocateur for a model 14 years younger. She's going to be most likely replaced by Alice Dellal. It seems that the company want a 'trendier, edgier model' and a 'fresh new face.'Terry WoganWogan is still rambling on about the Eurovision song contest. Now he reckons that the east European Countries in the contest were racist. He said, "East of the Danube they won't be voting for a black singer any day soon".Just in case you don't know the UK entry was by a black singer, Andy Abraham, and came last. The Eurovision Farce
 The now farcical Eurovision 2008 song contest was won last night by Russia with Dima Bilan singing Believe. Ukraine and Ani Lorak, as mentioned in our previous post, was second.Eurovision 2008 Winners 1. Russia: 272 points 2. Ukraine: 230 3. Greece: 218 4. Armenia: 199 5. Norway: 182 Something I thought I'd never say but, for once I agree with the UK presenter Terry Wogan when he said that Eurovision is "no longer a music contest". Wogan went on to say, "Indeed, western European participants have to decide whether they want to take part from here on in because their prospects are poor." The voting is now done on political grounds and has nothing to do with the best song. It's about voting for your 'mates' in adjoining countries and over the top presentations. The Russians even had an ice skater on stage - what on earth has that got to do with singing. It must be said, in fairness, that the Russian song was adequate but one of the favourites, Sweden, which won a trial vote, got nowhere. And mainly because they aren't an eastern European country. Changes need to be made or the whole thing will become a complete and utter farce.
