Neil Diamond The organiser of the UK Glastonbury Festival, Michael Eavis, has confirmed that Neil Diamond will be performing at the festival in June. There will also be a New York hip-hop star for younger visitors. Montel Williams The U.S Television talk show presenter Montel Williams is to leave his program after 17 years on air. Snoop Dogg Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, remains banned from entering the UK. His bid to get this overturned has failed. His criminal record has also led him to being denied entry into Australia. Jeremy Beadle Tributes have been paid to the television presenter and charity fund raiser Jeremy Beadle who has died aged 59. Jeremy leaves his wife Sue, daughters Cassie and Bonnie and stepchildren Leo and Claire. In his prime his shows such as Beadle's About and You've Been Framed attracted UK audiences of over 15 million. It is thought that he has made around £100 ($200) million for charities. Kwame Kilpatrick The Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has offered an apology to his constituents but has said that he will not resign from his position. This is to do with 'romantic texts' sent by Kilpatrick to Christine Beatty - see story and Christine's photo here. Brad Pitt A 25 year old freelance reporter was arrested outside of Brad Pitt's home. It's thought that he was looking for some form of 'proof' that Angelina Jolie is pregnant - which would be worth quite a few dollars.
