![]() Dick MartinDick Martin the comedian and director and famed for his part in Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In has died at the age of 86. He died of respiratory problems in Santa Monica, California.Dick Rowan married the Playboy playmate Dolly Read in August 1971. They divorced in 1975 but then remarried in 1978 and stayed this way until May 24 2008 when he died. He was also married to Peggy Connelly. He has two sons Richard and Cary Martin. Judi DenchActress Dame Judi Dench, 73, is to receive an honorary degree from Scotland's University of St Andrews. She will be made a Doctor of Letters in a graduation ceremony in June.![]() Nicola RobertsThe Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts has split up with Carl Davies reports the Daily Star. They had been together since they met in January 2007.Jeremy BeadleTelevision presenter Jeremy Beadle, who died in January this year, left £2 ($4) million. This was left in a trust to his wife Sue. Jeremy died of pneumonia after being diagnosed with leukaemia.Kaycee StrohThe High School Musical actress Kaycee Stroh is to marry her boyfriend Ben Higginson who proposed over the weekend. She is 23 and the couple met in 2007 and will marry at the end of 2008.Sir Ranulph FiennesThe explorer Ranulph Fiennes was forced to abandon his climb of Mount Everest through exhaustion. He was climbing for charity after the 64 year old had an operation for prostate cancer.Tommy LeeMotley Crue's Tommy Lee is to do the voice over for a cartoon based on his life. Snoop Dogg Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, remains banned from entering the UK. His bid to get this overturned has failed. His criminal record has also led him to being denied entry into Australia. ![]() Tributes have been paid to the television presenter and charity fund raiser Jeremy Beadle who has died aged 59. Jeremy leaves his wife Sue, daughters Cassie and Bonnie and stepchildren Leo and Claire. In his prime his shows such as Beadle's About and You've Been Framed attracted UK audiences of over 15 million. It is thought that he has made around £100 ($200) million for charities. Kwame Kilpatrick The Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has offered an apology to his constituents but has said that he will not resign from his position. This is to do with 'romantic texts' sent by Kilpatrick to Christine Beatty - see story and Christine's photo here. Brad Pitt A 25 year old freelance reporter was arrested outside of Brad Pitt's home. It's thought that he was looking for some form of 'proof' that Angelina Jolie is pregnant - which would be worth quite a few dollars. The sheriff's Department said in a statement, "Alcohol and speed are believed to be a factor in the crash." She was released on bail. Angelina Jolie Heinz say 'it would be a major coup' if they could persuade Angelina Jolie to star in adverts for their salad cream. She was recently seen at Claridge's in London covering her chips (fries) with the white stuff before devouring them. Not much hope of that Heinz! Jeremy Beadle UK television presenter Jeremy Beadle, 59, is seriously ill in hospital with pneumonia. ![]() There are problems with Antonio Banderas's house in Marbella and, to his horror, he has been told to knock some of it down. Our spy isn't sure what she ordered though. Elton John Sir Elton John has donated 100 motorbikes for medics in Africa. The Honda bikes will help them get quickly to patients in need in rural areas. Michael Underwood Contestant for the UK Dancing On Ice prog, Michael Underwood, has injured his ankle in a training session. It's thought to be broken so could cause the producers a problem.
