Paul McCartney It appears that Sir Paul McCartney underwent a secret heart operation late last year - a coronary angioplasty to be exact. A spokesperson for Paul admitted this and said, "It was a routine medical operation." Jennifer Hudson She's got an Oscar - Jennifer Hudson that is - but she won't be happy until she also has a Grammy. She said, "I get to sing this year. I love acting and I hope I don't ever have to choose between acting and singing, but singing is what I worked 17 years to do. That's what I dreamed of. And I get to do it this year." Lee Ryan Singer Lee Ryan, late of Blue, was arrested New Year's Eve after allegedly attacking a taxi driver. A formal police statement stated: "A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault then bailed pending inquiries." Nicolette Sheridan Ah, the secret of romance. Nicolette Sheridan reckons her romance with Michael Bolton was boosted by Scrabble! In her words, "We have always been an inspiration for one another and had this deep love, even when we were apart as friends. We had an ongoing Scrabble tournament by email for close on two decades. Ken Dodd The 80 year old British comedian Ken Dodd is in hospital following an emergency hernia operation. As Ken might say: What a marvellous day for chucking a tin of whitewash over a pigeon and saying, 'There, how do YOU like that?' Okay, it's not funny to everyone but we wish him well.
