Britney Spears And The USA Economy
 Britney Spears may at times have the appearance of a train crash but the financial reality is that she is worth something like $120,000 million to the USA economy. At least this is what the business magazine Portfolio has estimated in their Britney Spears Career AnalysisHer popularity shows no sign of waining. For example in the period of 78 weeks from January 2006 to July 2007 Britney appeared on the front covers of the leading U.S.A. tabloids 175 times. She has been the number one search item on Yahoo for six of the past seven years. Her only let down was where she slipped to number 2 in 2004 (Paris Hilton temporarily hit number one that year). Portfolio suggest that her personal fortune is $125 million and that she continues to make around $737,000 per month - but this is only her 'share'. A paparazzi photo, for example, would fetch anything between £250, for a run of the mill shot, to $100,000 for something more exclusive. No wonder she is always followed wherever she goes.
