Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and Christine Beatty Charged By Kym Worthy
 Further to our post of January 24th Christine Beatty and Kwame Kilpatrick it looks as this 'affair' has now all been taken a step further.The Wayne Court prosecuter, Kym Worthy (photo left) has announced that the couple are to be charged in connection with 12 felonies including perjury, obstruction of justice and misconduct in office in a text messaging scandal.  Should they be found guilty the penalties could be anything from five to fifteen years in prison.Detriot Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has said that he expects to be vindicated.
