Amy Winehouse To Perform At Glastonbury
First, this is Amy Winehouse in the early hours of this morning leaving her Camden home and heading for a hotel. Reports say that there was a small spot of blood on her vest and fresh cut marks on her arm plus sores on her hands. She is to appear before Kay-Z on the Pyramid stage. She is also set to headline Bestival on the Isle of Wight on September 6th plus, starting May 30th, a number of European Festivals. This is in spite of friend Mark Ronson claiming that Amy Winehouse isn't ready to work on music. Regarding this point Emily Eavis of the Glastonbury Festival, told Radio 1's Newsbeat, "I have total faith, I think she'll come and deliver. This is one of the biggest sets of the summer, supporting the most anticipated artist at Glastonbury in the past 38 years." She went on to add, "I don't know how much is hot air from the press and how much is reality but she is pretty reliable actually. It's her personal life and no-one really knows the extent of what she's up to and I don't think it should be public knowledge. We all know she's a brilliant performer and I think that's what we should be focusing on." Let's hope that Amy is fit and ready to perform and we wish her a good summer.
