 Cheryl ColeSo the new X Factor judge to replace Sharon Osbourne is to be Cheryl Cole. She'll join the other regulars Simon Cowell (of course!), Louis Walsh and Danii Minogue.Will this be a good thing? Well Sharon was becoming a joke, almost an embarrassment on the show with her silly talk and attitude. A replacement is therefore good. But Cheryl Cole? As lovely and bright as she is I feel that she's a bit young to be a mentor. If she gets, say, the oldies will they respect her opinion? Guess time will tell.  Carla BruniThe French President's wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is due to release a new album on July 21st. The songs include themes of 30 lovers and drugs, so a little controversy is expected. In one song she sings, 'You are my drug. More lethal than heroine from Afghanistan and more dangerous than Colombian cocaine.'The Le Figaro critic reckons that the album, 'shows Bruni coming of age as a songstress and embracing more recognisably French styles and the flamboyance of the 1960s.' It will be Carla Bruni's third album since becoming a professional songster following her modelling career.
