A Smiling Samia Smith Photographed Yesterday
 The lovely Samia Smith, 26, who plays Maria Connor in the soap Coronation Street, spotted out shopping yesterday in Manchester. Samia has recently been telling of her own mother's similar odeal to what happened to Maria in Coronation Street.  Her mother Patsy also lost a baby after being recently married as did Maria in Corrie. Samia said of her part, "My mum was the person I wanted to watch it and give me her absolute honest opinion. After it, she was choked up but said she thought I'd portrayed it well, which was the biggest compliment."
