Lily Allen Does Not Condone Illegal Drug Use
 Lily Allen doesn't condone illegal drug use. Well that's what her people want to emphasise because of a track, Everyone's At It, which is on her new soon to be released album It's Not Me It's You. The statement on Lily's behalf said, "The song itself talks about a culture of both legally prescribed drugs like anti-depressants and also illegal drug use. Lily Allen would like to state unequivocally that she does not condone illegal drug use." The release went on to say that Lily "has every sympathy with individuals and families whose lives have been blighted by drugs." So that's sorted. Bo Diddley Has Died
 The legendary Bo Diddley has died in Florida, he was 79. In August of 2007 he suffered a stroke which left him without speech.Bo, real name Ellas Bates, was considered one of the architects of rock'n'roll. His fame began on the Ed Sullivan Show on television when he was 26 - a classic in its day. This was in 1955 and prior to the likes of Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly becoming household names. His signature beat became standard throughout the years and he was always aggrieved that this could never be made copyright. He was entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.  Elvis Presley would have been 73 today and worlwide fans are in Memphis to celebrate the occassion. The festivities include cutting a birthday cake at Graceland, the annual proclomation of the Memphis Elvis Presley Day, a Gospel Tribute and so on. The phenomenon that was Elvis lives on. | Pierce Brosnan The former James Bond star, Pierce Brosnan is alleged to have got into a bit of a fight with a photographer, Robert Rosen. The Los Angeles Sherriff's department have said, "We are investigating Mr. Brosnan, who is alleged to have committed a battery." The incident too place at a mall in Malibu.  Nicole KidmanThe Internet has been buzzing about Nicole Kidman's short, black dress, when appearing at Sydney's Acer Arena for the Australian Recording Industry Association Awards. It seems that the innocent Nicole didn't realise that it was transparent and therefore it looked more like lingerie. Fortunately she was wearing a thong to cover her embarrassment - oh, and she got a lot of publicity, so that was a consolation! Heather Mills The estranged wife of Paul McCartney, Heather Mills, has been telling of how the UK's tabloid newspapers have almost driven her to suicide. Heather said, "I've had 18 months of absolute abuse. They've called me a whore, a gold-digger, a fantasist, a liar, the most unbelievably hurtful things. I've stayed quiet for my daughter. We've had death threats, I've been close to suicide. I've had worse threats than a paedophile or a murderer and I've done nothing but charity for 20 years."  Robert GouletThe actor and also singer Robert Goulet died yesterday at the age of 73. He suffered from the lung disease pulmonary fibrosis and passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical center, Los Angeles. Sabrina Bryan A big shock for Dancing With The Stars viewers was that Sabrina Bryan was voted out of the program. Sabrina was fancied as a possible winner and now she's gone. Lots of sobs and things. Elvis Presley The King, Elvis Presley still reigns supreme. He's the King of the dead celebs in respect of earning power. Last year he, or rather his name made $24 million according to Forbes. In second place was John Lennon with $21 million.  Britney SpearsShe's got a new boyfriend, Britney Spears that is, and it's Tony Romo an American Quarterback. He's a brave man. Angelina Jolie In Angelina Jolie and Brad's bedroom there are now dozens of crystals. A friend said, "Angelina believes they hold sacred, ancient energy and wants that around her."  Ben Kingsley and Mary-Kate OlsenBen Kingsley went home a happy man last week after completing a scene from his new film, The Wackness. The 63 year old had to do a steamy love scene with 21 year old Mary-Kate Olsen. Ben Kingsley said about Mary-Kate Olsen, "There is a very passionate scene in the movie, which we filmed last week. It went extremely well and she was very focused. She was very good, very professional. She was quite wonderful." Elvis Presley And, of course, today is the 30th anniversary of Elvis's Death. Britney Spears A story in a UK paper tells of Britney Spears being a sex mad lesbian who tried to lure nannies into bed. Some of them claim that Britney Spears 'struts naked around her Beverly Hills mansion lusting after X rated lesbian action.' Kara-Louise In the UK Big Brother Kara-Louise is the favourite to be evicted tomorrow - that'll no big loss that's for sure. Lily Allen The Lily Allen photo shows her holding up her sick note confirming she isn't feeling too good. Concerts in Norway, Sweden, Portugal and Holland have been cancelled. The Star newspaper, however, claims that Lily Allen spent the night in a pub and yesterday was spotted buying lingerie in Agent Provocateur. Looks like she's recovering.
