Celebrity News Catch Up
Lady GagaThe stony faced Lady Gaga is to appear at this years UK Glastonbury Festival on Friday June 26th. She will follow this with appearances in Manchester, London and Swindon. Oh, and Glastonbury tickets are sold out. Bob Dylan 67 year old icon, Bob Dylan, is sitting at the top of the US Album Chart with Together Through Life. This is his fifth number one in the US and he's also topping the UK, Austrian and Danish charts and has top five positions in Australia, Germany, Ireland, Holland, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden and New Zealand. Michael Jackson Raymone Bain, doesn't do things by halves as she is suing Michael Jackson for $44 million for services rendered - as his publicist (obviously). Ms. Baid said, "Unfortunately, Mr. Jackson has elected not to honour the financial obligations of our contractual relationship, despite my numerous attempts to amicably resolve this matter. I am sincerely disappointed in Mr. Jackson's failure to honour his obligations." Victoria BeckhamThe Posh one can be seen in lingerie photos for a raunchy campaign for Armani. But, come on now, she doesn't look like the photo in real life, does she? Methinks the photo has been touched up a little, okay a lot. The photos are from Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The Apprentice Philip Taylor was fired from the UK version of The Apprentice last night, yes big mouth has gone. It's just a pity that Lorraine Tighe couldn't have got the chop as well. The Apprentice: Bye Bye Loopy Lucinda Ledgerwood
Sir Alan Sugar has made The Apprentice final an intriguing prospect after getting rid of just one contestant last night. We are therefore left with four for the final.Last night we saw the end of loopy Lucinda Ledgerwood. She was simply 'too zany' for Sir Alan. The wonder is as to how she lasted so long. So we are now left with good looking, but boring, Alex Wotherspoon, wideboy Lee McQueen, talkative Claire Young and the tactical Helene Speight for the final. Goodness knows who will win as they all have some qualities but lack in others. If Sugar really wants an 'apprentice' then perhaps Alex is the one who can be moulded and trained. The others probably come with certain preconceived ideas and conceptions of business. Whatever, it has been set up for an interesting final. As for Lucinda Ledgerwood, 'the absolute nutcase' as Karin Brady called her, she was already earning more than the £100,000 ($200,000) being offered. No need to shed any tears for her. Here's a few Lucinda gems: "I'm principled, honest, affable, passionate and quirky. I've studied Chinese medicine and aromatherapy, so I've got the softer skills and business side." "I do not abuse my position as a female. Flashing legs or wheedling up to someone, that's not even manipulative, that's dishonourable. Those techniques were employed by the two Jennifers and Helene," "I think it would be great fun to design my own clothing range." No, she defintely wasn't the woman for plain talking Alan Sugar. Sara Dhada Thankfully Fired From The Apprentice
Thankfully Sara Dhada was fired from The Apprentice (UK version) last night. She simply cannot sell and the same goes for the 'useless' Michael. They don't have the basics of listening to customers. Or at least they didn't with last night's task of selling wedding cakes and dresses. She failed to make a sale. As usual Sara didn't seem able to comprehend why she was fired. Afterwards she said, "I didn't want to make a big hoo-ha about it. Of course I felt like crying. They [her fellow contenders] had so much venom, because they wanted me fired" Sir Alan's helpers Nick and Margaret accused her of 'bludgeoning' possible customers. And that is exactly what she tried to do. She is supposedly a trained lawyer and an international car trader so perhaps she'll find some more suitable work. And surely Michael will be next to go - please! Labels: Sara Dhada, The Apprentice |
