Kevin Greening Died Following A Homosexual Bondage Session
A verdict of misadventure was recorded as the reason for the death of ex Radio 1's Kevin Greening late last year. The Coroner, Paul Knapman, stated that Kevin Greening, "was found dead having indulged in unorthodox sexual behaviour involving restraint equipment and illegal drugs." He was 44. The inquest heard how Greening had been suspended in a black leather sling from scaffolding in his bedroom while wearing a rubber suit. He had 'gaffer tape' and 'cling film' around his body. There were traces of cocaine, ecstasy and GHB found in his bloodstream. Sean Griffin, Knapman's partner, told how, "Kevin and I had a very happy and very vigorous sex life. It was not conventional by heterosexual norms perhaps, but it was a sex life which was vigorous and imaginative and we enjoyed each other ... It was a catastrophic night." Simon Mayo said, when he paid tribute to Kevin Greening, "He had a great brain and a very dry sense of humour. He was quite shy - sometimes a bit embarrassed about achieving the level of fame he had. The work that he put in to his programmes was fantastic. He was very meticulous. He was just a fantastic example and naturally gifted." Labels: Bondage Session, Kevin Greening |
