Amy Winehouse Waxwork
This is Amy Winehouse as we haven't seen her before. Her waxwork model, photo above, has been unveiled at Madame Tussauds, in London, and her parent's were present to see the finished article. Mitch Winehouse said that it was an 'absolute incredible likeness.' And it must be said that it does indeed look good, perhaps better than Amy looks in reality. Mitch went on to say, "It captures her totally, but she's not that skinny anymore. I can't get over the tattoos. They are perfect." There is a video of Amy's Waxwork on the BBC website. I like Amy Winehouse.
Absolutely superb voice.
When I was in the UK recently, I saw she was hitting the tabloids again with her latest 'problems'.
Such a shame.
I have this horrible feeling she is going to go the same way as Janis Joplin. My mother was a huge fan of Joplin, so we had all the records and, later on, the videos. There's a striking resemblance, not so much in looks, but in the 'soul' they both put into their music.
Hope I'm wrong though...
