George Sampson: Britain's Got Talent Winner
![]() Well we didn't get that quite right! George Sampson, the 14 year old dancer, has just won Britain's Got Talent with his stunning version of an updated Singing In The Rain. George is 14 (15 on the 29th of June) and lives in Birchwood. He has built a good fan base on the Internet on forums, such as at ITV.com and on websites such as bebo. His fans were mobilised and did their job to make George a winner (and to pocket the £100,000 and Royal Variety performance). Well done to him and those that supported him, especially his mother. The likes of Faryl Smith will be disappointed but have a good future ahead of them. Simon Cowell will be visualising the cash tills already.
